Well, we all survived Florence and the sun is shining again! We hope everyone is doing well and did not have any large problems with the storm.
Our meeting will be September 22nd at Redeemer Lutheran Church on 1915 S. New Hope Rd. A presentation will be made and we will all go to the fellowship hall for refreshments

This is your invitation to The Rosemary-n-Thyme Open House hosted by The Rosemary ~n~ Thyme Herb Society of Gaston County! Join us on Saturday, June 16th, from 10 am to Noon at Redeemer Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, 1915 S. New Hope Road in Gastonia, NC. Come meet our members and learn what we are all about. Come discover the fun world of herbs and plants. Hope to see you there! Wanda Campbell, President Tomorrow we will go to the Lavender Farm at 188 Meeks Road. The farm is on a gravel driveway beside a horse farm. I drove out there today and the lavender is blooming. It is amazing to see lavender blooming in our county!
Allison Pitman, Master Gardener at Holy Angel's Greenhouse, gave a demonstration on how to root lavender cuttings. Our tea was beautiful! Laughter and merriment was enjoyed by all. Be sure to look out for our next event so you can come and hang out with our wonderful ladies!Our High Tea is this weekend! Don't forget to bring a wrapped cup and saucer for the drawing/exchange! Hope to see you all there!
